The people pictured below are all volunteers who dedicate their time, labor and sometimes money to make sure that the sport, culture and history of rodeo continues for generations to come.
Mel has been an active member of the Rowell Ranch Rodeo for many years, providing support and various types of service. Mel lives in Fremont with his wife Georgia and comes from a long line of family who also are, and have been, active members of the Rowell Ranch Rodeo. Mel enjoys running cattle and is well known for his Teamster work (the original type with horses and wagons) with The Sonoma Trail Blazers. He is also a past winner of our annual Team Penning Event.
Thank you Mel for all you do. It is because of your character and dedication that we as a Rodeo Family are able to put on such a fine example of America's past time we call Rodeo.
